Welcome!

It is widely accepted that horseback riding is beneficial for anyone with physical disabilities.  Individuals with impaired mobility benefit greatly from riding, since the horse's motion simulates a normal walking motion for the student.  The rhythm and movement of the horse can improve a rider's balance, reactions and muscle tone.

Recreationally, horseback riding mainstreams individuals with a disability into an environment where they can share their common interest in riding with an able-bodied person.  The psychological benefits of riding horses improves self-esteem and motivation.  Riders experience a sense of independence and freedom by having mastered a difficult art.  This feeling of independence can sustain them in all aspects of life.

While the main focus of our program is on the disabled community, anyone interested in using experiences with horses to enhance personal growth is welcome.  Children, adolescents and adults participate.  Our multi-faceted program is equipped to provide a wide range of services.  Our facility is wheelchair accessible.
